Meet Sarah Reardon, LPC
You are so much stronger than you think you are.
Psst!! Ask me how I know…
Simple answer: Because you’re seeking help, which means you have already conquered the first, and scariest, step.
You’ve got this…..
You just need a little help getting there.
I’m Sarah and I help individuals just like you.
I absolutely love helping and seeing my clients grow into the individuals they have always strived to be, but never thought was possible. I believe that you can not only heal from past experiences, but you can also grow from them while also reconnecting with those parts of you that have been lost.
With that said, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy or even what you would think would be a “typical” therapy appointment. When working with me, you will get a real, live person… Someone who has gone through a lot of her own shit and continues to go through it. I am 100% honest and authentic and I want to provide a space that allows you to do the same. I personally grew up on the back of a horse on a ranch in south central TX. Trust me: I don’t get offended easily. You can scream, cry, cuss, tell your darkest, most morbid jokes (then I will tell you mine) – whatever you feel you need to do. I will strive to build a strong connection so you can feel comfortable and safe enough to be raw.
Don’t worry. It’s not all talk, talk, talk. We will also work on developing healthy coping skills that are tailored to you and your unique self that help give you confidence in handling life’s curveballs.
The world is harsh and life sucks sometimes. BUT! You do not have to do that alone.
“Two things can be true at the same time.”
Full disclosure: It’s my favorite quote. You’ll hear me say it more times than you’d like. Apologies in advance.
It does not have to be this way forever….
Change is hard.
Change is also possible.
Why the magnolia??
Let’s be real: The South likes their traditions and symbols. The magnolia is no exception. It is THE symbol of the south.
Fun fact: The magnolia tree is believed to be the first flowering plant, dating back millions of years. This means they were around before bees and instead, relied on beetles for pollination. Beetles aren’t exactly known for the their featherlight touch, so this requires the tree to be pretty tough.
The magnolia is one of the hardiest flowers and has endured and adapted through some of the harshest environments… (Like the insane heat of the south.)
Like the magnolia, I believe that the human spirit can not only endure hardship….
It perseveres. It is resilient.
So are you.
