I accept a limited number of insurance clients and use a popular third party billing company called Alma. Please note that most insurances often only provide coverage for services they consider “medically necessary”. This requires an official mental health diagnosis to be put on your medical record.
Sessions are scheduled in 60 minute blocks and my self-pay rate is $150 per session.
I am also considered an “out of network provider” for most insurances. I can provide what is called a “superbill” each month that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please note, it is important to reach out to your insurance directly to determine your out of network benefits.
Clients are responsible for the full payment, or copay requirements, at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment are credit/debit cards to include HSA/FSA accounts. A credit/debit card is required to be kept on file for billing purposes.
Please see Fees and Insurance tab for more information.

The initial therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other and allows me to learn more about what brings you into therapy and personal goals. We will also go over the intake paperwork you filled out prior to session.
I try to make the first session as conversational and collaborative as possible!

I have found that an eclectic, integrative approach is what works best. This means that I pull from a large variety of theories and techniques, tailoring the treatment to you and your individual needs. Each person is unique, and as such, your treatment should be, too.
I work from a trauma-informed lens and periodically use Parts Work, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporate Client-Centered Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.

The length of time someone is in therapy is unique to each individual and their own treatment goals. We will periodically reassess your treatment plan together.
Most people start with weekly sessions, but some are more comfortable with bi-weekly or even twice weekly. As we reassess your treatment plan and feel confident in your goals and use of skills outside of session, we can reduce the frequency of our meetings. Many of my clients find that they start feeling better within 2-6 months of working together.
